Tour Itinerary

DAY 01: Arequipa: City Tour Campina, Yanahuara, Paucarpata, Sabandia

A.M . Reception and transfer to hotel. Combined tour includes the "white city" and its green surroundings to appreciate the beauty of the countryside. The tour includes: Mirador de Yanahuara, two miles from downtown, in the district of Yanahuara. Next we travel by narrow streets, the main square and church (1,750). Paucarpata, 7 kms. of the center, there are Inca terraces. Sabandia, 10 kms. of the city, amidst the countryside dominated by volcanoes, Chachani Misti and Pichupichu, this town retains an old mill (1.662) that works with the strength of a ditch. Huasacache, town to the riverside Socabaya, where is located the Founder s Mansion, the building of XVIII century. Monasterio de Santa Catalina, with an area of over 20,000 square meters, was founded in 1.579 and remained closed until 1.970. Return to the hotel.

DAY 02: Arequipa / Colca Canyon

Breakfast. Pick up from hotel at 08:00 hrs ls. A.M. approx. We proceed to the Colca Canyon, the northern route, through and around the volcano Yura Chachani, Vicuna National Reserve Pampa Canahuas. A stop at the Mirador de los Andes, we see the active volcano expert Sabancaya and Ampato and Hualca-Hualca. Arrival in Chivay. Transfer to hotel. Free time. Enjoy the hot springs of La Calera (the pax. Can not forget a bathing suit). Return to hotel in Chivay.

DAY 03 Viewer of Cruz del Condor

Breakfast. A.M. We proceed to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor, from where there is the formidable depth of the Canyon and the majestic Condor. Return to Chivay, making brief stops en route. Transfer to hotel

DAY 04: Arequipa / Lima /

Breakfast. At the appropriate time, transfer to airport or bus station for your departure.
