Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Iquitos - Amazon Lodge

Reception at the airport in Iquitos where we expect the guide on the way to the pier will give you a brief orientation of the city. Navigate the Amazon River to the lodge. As a welcome to the hostel we ll taste a nice drink with fruits of the region like Cocona, camu-camu and copoazu. The afternoon hike or a canoe - as permitted by the station a "New Peru", which is established a community of ethnic Yagua. Return to the lodge for lunch and then embark on an excursion where we will learn ethnobotany of the great diversity of plants of the Peruvian Amazon as well as visiting the site a shaman who is a connoisseur of the secrets of nature. Back at the hostel an unforgettable sunset appreciate Amazon. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 02: Full Day Tour Yanayacu

River exploration Forest Reserve Primary Yanayacu the river ecosystem. Navigate the Amazon River through which with any luck we may see some pink dolphins. Arrival at Huashalado Village where we will walk to the river Yanayacu, where a boat awaits us in this excursion. During the tour, walk through "The Kingdom of the Giant Trees", named for the large size reached by some specimens among which the "kapok." Here we see a great variety of birds and some monkeys and a sloth or "Peleja." After enjoying a box lunch on the boat or the river bank can choose between walking if desired by trail or canoe ride, according to the season-in this journey we will observe more plants and trees of this ecosystem highlighting the Victoria Regia, which can measure up 1.80 m. in diameter. Returning to the hostel we piranha fish, sunfish and other species in the manner as do the natives of the area. Optionally you can take a canoe ride through the gorge, otherwise enjoy the evening comfortably rocking in a hammock or enjoy an exotic drink. Dinner and overnight

DAY 03: Lodge / Iquitos

Breakfast and last chance to take photos before departure. Return to the Iquitos airport.
